Fallen is an adventure-themed tabletop game published by Stonemaier Games. The game, a sequel to Scythe, takes players to Siberia, where a massive meteorite crashes near the Tunguska River, awakening ancient corrupting forces. In this wilderness, an expedition led by Dr. Tarkovsky enters the taiga forest in an attempt to understand meteorites and their impact on the land. Meanwhile, adventure-hungry heroes privately fund their own expeditions, hoping to find artifacts, overcome challenges, and ultimately achieve glory. If you are interested in adventure, card games, and engine building, this game may be something you won’t be able to put down! Fallen's gameplay mechanics are completely different from Scythe's, but the goal is to capture some similar emotions with slightly darker, supernatural themes. This is a competitive, card-driven, engine-built adventure game. You need to play cards to gain strength, cunning and unique worker abilities; move your mech to mysterious locations and obtain cards hidden in floor tiles; use workers, items, meteorites and tasks to enhance your mech ;and use strength and cunning to remove corruption. During the game, you can even modify your robot to speed up resource collection and complete scoring tasks!

Looking at the present, the whole world is staring at Siberia. A giant meteorite struck near the Tunguska River, awakening the ancient power of corruption.

An expedition led by Dr. Tarkovsky stepped into the northern taiga to learn about meteorites and their impact on the land. Several months passed with no news from the expedition. There are only rumors that team members and wildlife are possessed by strange parasites. The rescue team sent to search for Dr. Tarkovsky also failed to return.

And those heroes who stand out in the war are eager for adventure. They each prepare their own expeditions and head to Siberia, hoping to find alien relics, overcome many challenges, and finally return in glory. They borrowed a mecha specially built for exploration operations and headed to base camp to prepare for their trip.
