King of Tokyo Board Game

Monsters gather in Tokyo and fight to become the king of Tokyo! King of Tokyo is a tabletop game designed by Richard Garfield for 2 to 6 players. In this game, players take on the role of mutant monsters, giant robots, and bizarre aliens as they wreak havoc and attack each other in Tokyo in a bid to become the sole King of Tokyo. At the start of the game, each player rolls six dice, with the symbols shown on the dice including: 1, 2 or 3 victory points, energy, healing, and attack. Players can choose to keep or discard each dice over three rolls to earn victory points, gain energy, restore health, or attack other players. The most ferocious player will capture Tokyo and receive additional victory points, but that player cannot heal and must face all other monsters alone. The goal of the game is to destroy Tokyo by accumulating 20 victory points, or to be the only surviving monster at the end of the battle. King of Tokyo has won multiple gaming awards for its unique gameplay mechanics and interactivity, and has several expansion packs and special editions, such as King of Tokyo: Monsters Extreme Edition.
