The game designers of Point Salad were very intentional. Not only did they design a game with a "point salad" mechanism, they also amplified the mechanism ten to twenty times, turning it into "108 ways to score"! There are a total of 108 game cards in the game. The back of each card represents a method of calculating scores. The front is a variety of vegetables. Players can choose the scoring method and collect the vegetables used for scoring.
Point Salad cards 2019 Cardboard Republic Socializer Laurel Award Nominations An unimaginable vegetable competition, with more than a hundred scoring methods, extending ever-changing strategies. Who can match the most delicious salad combination in the ever-changing vegetable market?
Make your own salad plate, pick your own vegetables, each game is uniquely designed! Number of players: 2-6 people|Suitable age: 13 years and above|Game time: 15-30 minutes

The Chinese and English versions are designed by Taiwan's 2Plus Board Games and include Chinese and English instructions and bilingual cards.

Gameplay:

Use a corresponding number of vegetable cards according to the number of players, shuffle them evenly and divide them into 3 stacks of cards to form a scoring card library. Turn over 2 cards from each stack of cards to form a vegetable market.
☆Each player takes turns taking a turn and chooses one of the following two actions:
  1. Take the top score card from one of the score card piles
  2. Take 2 vegetable cards from the vegetable market

After taking the cards, place the cards in front of yourself. The round ends and the next player takes the turn.
☆Optional action: During your turn, you can choose to flip one of the score cards in front of you to the vegetable side.

After selecting the vegetable card, reveal a card from the scoring card deck in the same row and fill the empty space with vegetable noodles.
If one of the score card decks is used up, half of the deck with the most cards will be taken to fill the used up deck.
☆Game over
  • After all the cards in the card library and vegetable market are used up, the game ends and the players each calculate the scores in front of them.
  • Players match the vegetables in front of them with score cards, and each score card requires counting every vegetable card in front of the player.
The player with the highest score wins and becomes the Salad Master.
