Avalon: Lancelot Expansion Lancelot Promo Cards require the main game of Avalon to play. There are two new rules inside. One is the character card [Lancelot], and the other is the ability card [Sword of the King] that players can use. Both new rules can be added to the game independently. It is recommended that you become familiar with the basic version before adding the Lancelot expansion, because these two new rules will greatly increase the complexity of the game and are more suitable for players who have a good understanding of the game.

BGG Link: The Resistance: Avalon Promo Cards Avalon ( The Resistance: Avalon ) once appeared in Taiwan's Entertainment 100-Board Game Research Institute . It is a very popular camp board game. The gameplay is similar to Werewolf. It is a board game that tests teamwork, communication and observation skills. The fun of the game comes from the interaction and expression changes between players; playing with different people, observing their words and expressions, and finding clues to help your companions win is the key to never getting tired of playing Avalon. Characters with special abilities make this game versatile, and players can choose which characters to add depending on their familiarity with the game. The most important one is of course the role of Merlin, because at the beginning of the game, all the evil minions will open their eyes and see each other. They will try their best to deceive and disguise during the game to deceive those who have no information. The good guys are clear; only Master Merlin will know the identity of the bad guys, but he must lead the good guys to victory without revealing his identity. If it is too obvious and he is caught and assassinated by the bad guys, the good guys camp will lose.

Avalon: Lancelot Expansion – Sword of Kings Rules

Players who hold the King's Sword can exchange the mission card played by a player with another one, and view the replaced mission card.

Game rules:

  • During the team organization phase, the leader player will give the King's Sword to one player (not the leader himself).
  • After deciding on the team and playing the mission card (it has not been shuffled yet), the player holding the King's Sword can choose to activate the ability to replace a certain player's mission card with another mission card that has not been played.
  • Players with the King's Sword can check the front of the replaced mission card, so they know whether the player's card is [mission successful] or [mission failed].

Avalon: Lancelot Expansion – Lancelot Rules

When using the Lancelot expansion, you must add Lancelot from the evil side and Lancelot from the righteous side at the same time. The camp switching card will be drawn to determine whether the two Lancelot players have changed into each other's camp (the good side and the evil side swap).

Game rules:

  • Preparation stage: Shuffle the seven [Switching Camp Cards] and place them next to the game scoreboard.
  • Recognition stage: The evil Lancelot does not need to open his eyes, but he needs to give a thumbs up to let other evil players know his identity.
  • Game stage: Starting from the 3rd round, draw a [Switch Camp Card] at the beginning of each round. If the front of the card is a symbol of switching camps, the camps of the two Lancelots will swap (no need to exchange character cards). Their respective victory targets will also be swapped.
