玩家們必須通過對城鎮、村莊以及修道院提供支持，或是開採大理石並且進行貨運，以進行領土擴張，從而獲得分數。每一輪，玩家們將打出卡牌來放置六邊形板塊(六角片)、擴張領土。並從而獲得一些可累加的分數。這些分數每輪也會計算一次。

三輪之後，分數最多的玩家獲得勝利。
