此遊戲不能獨立遊玩，需要配合「矮人掘金」才能一起遊玩。
遊戲除了以往好矮人和壞矮人外，還增加了中立角色，和矮人小隊。
新增的矮人牌為遊戲引入新的勝利條件，新的路徑和行動牌亦為激烈的隧道戰增添張力！辛苦獲得的金塊可能不再安穩，矮人隊友可能會倒戈相向，你亦可能被逼與其他玩家交換手牌！
