在《卡斯卡迪亞之旅》中，玩家們通過輪抽棲息地板塊、野生動物標記來鑲嵌成一幅華麗景觀，在太平洋西北地區競相創建最多樣化的生態區。穿越卡斯卡迪亞的自然景觀，成為一名當地的生物學家，同時研究這裡的棲息地和野生動物以獲得成就！單人或多人模式下皆可獲得並記錄你的成就。每一場《卡斯卡迪亞之旅》遊戲的得分目標都會有不同的組合，這些組合與五種野生動物有關。在將野生動物排列成得分圖案的同時，玩家們還會競相創建最大的連續棲息地廊道。玩家建造生態區時，必須特別注意自己創建的棲息地和居住其中的野生動物，目的是在《卡斯卡迪亞之旅》建立最和諧的生態系統。
