描述
西元 1770~1870 年間，英格蘭西密德蘭郡的眾多企業家在工業革命期間互相競爭的故事。
玩家是扮演英國北方的工業家，當時是工業革命興盛時期，由運河時期轉到鐵路的時代，國家出口綿花，但對外出口慢慢飽和，而鐵路的興起卻又為到本地城市帶來新經濟效益。玩家於遊戲中，建立地方工業及營運，為國家興建鐵路，透過建造、出口綿花來超越其他玩家獲取最高分數成為最成功的工業家。
