山中小屋 Betrayal at House on the Hill 是一款以美式驚慄電影為藍本的角色扮演合作類型遊戲。
玩家扮演著一些經典角色，智慧長者、堅強女性、莽撞少年、爽朗少女、陽光男孩、天真女童，三男三女於風雨交加的晚上來到一幢古老大屋躲避，然後當所有人進屋之後，卻發現大門被鎖上了無法開啟。豪宅中不斷地發生一些詭異的事件，各人只好在大宅中探索逐步揭開事情的真相，而玩家必須尋找逃離的辦法。
隨著這棟房屋被探索得越多，就越覺得可怕，尤其是最後被揭露的秘密更是如此。在進入之前，深呼吸一口氣吧，也許這是你此生最後的一口乾淨的空氣，小心你們之中有個叛徒正準備把你們全部都殺死……
